Last summer, I had the pleasure of photographing Sondos & Jason’s wedding at the beautiful Elora Mill Inn In Elora which is one of Ontario’s prettiest villages! I love it there! My husband proposed to me while we were staying at the Elora Mill 6 years ago. It is one of my favourite Ontario Inns. It is set above the falls of the Grand River and Elora Gorge, and has stood on this site for over 175 years. The inn used to be a grist mill before it was converted to a beautiful inn. All of the rooms are accented with antiques & period reproductions. The cuisine is absolutely delicious and the menus are created with local & organically grown produce, which is especially produced for the Inn. The little town of Elora is so quaint & lovely with it’s cobblestone streets and old stone buildings. The village is filled with artists and craftspeople & is a very busy tourist destination in Ontario. It’s really not hard to fall in love with Elora and to fall in love in Elora…
Jason & Sondos had a lovely Sunday afternoon wedding with a small group of family and friends in the beautiful Inn. Sondos is Egyptian and incorporated some of her heritage into her wedding…I think this Egyptian cake is one of the coolest cakes I have ever seen.
Anyway, it was a pleasure photographing their wedding! Here are some of the photos from their day.
This cake truly was so beautiful & had amazing details.
Sondos & Jason gave Egyptian Papyrus as their wedding favours to their guests.
I love Sondo’s dress! It was so simple & elegant and she was a stunning bride!
I love photographing the bride getting ready…The room in the Inn where Sondos was getting ready was so beautiful & overlooked the Elora gorge…
What a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding!
