This workshop led by Jennifer Klementti, Apryl Munro, and Sarah Lajeunesse is ideal for creative entrepreneurs who are ready to elevate their brand, learn how to create photo and video content that inspires, and how to maximize your time and your reach on social media.
Are you ready to elevate your brand?
We are excited to bring our combined experience and talent together in this immersive and comprehensive workshop for you. Space is limited to only 10 people so we can give each of you individual support throughout the day.
This one day workshop will be split into two parts. The morning from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. will focus on how to create content to attract your target clientele, photography, styling, creating a cohesive visual brand and will be taught by me, Jennifer Klementti.
We will have a one hour break for lunch and networking. Catering is included in the workshop fee.
Sarah and Apryl from TKL Media will be teaching the afternoon segment of the workshop from 2 – 5 p.m. diving into best practices for Facebook & Instagram, video creation, live video, tools, and video editing.

1. Create a Cohesive Visual Brand – Jennifer, 10 – 10:30 a.m.
The starting point to creating a brand that you love that effortlessly attracts your ideal clientele is to know who you are, what you represent, what sets you apart, and knowing the true value that you offer your clients. Gain clarity on your brand, whether you are about to launch a new business or rebrand your current business.
2. Content & Social Strategies – Jennifer, 10:30 – 10:50 a.m. (*incl. 10 minute break)
Great content drives traffic. Period. Learn how to develop your voice and create your own unique content. Pinterest is the #1 driver of targeted traffic to both of my websites. Learn tips & tricks to curate your Pinterest feed, and strategies to creating amazing content that will drive traffic to your site.
3. Style your brand – Jennifer, 11:00 – 11:20 a.m.
Learn how to style your brand through the art of visual story telling. Where to source props and how to create your signature style. Composition techniques and colour theory and why they both matter in creating still life or flat lay photos that inspire.
4. Take better photos. Edit like a pro. – Jennifer, 11:20 – 12:00 p.m.
Hiring a professional brand photographer is always recommended, however, it’s important to learn how to create your own styled photos (even if you only have a smartphone), and edit them to match the look and feeling of your brand. Jennifer will take you through a styled flat lay shoot using only her iPhone from start to finish including editing, iPhone tips & tricks, and which apps to use.
5. Styling & photography breakout session – 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Dive into Jennifer’s prop collection to create 3 separate still life or flat lay scenes to photograph for your brand. We’ll also have some greenery and florals on hand for you as well as some stations already styled and set up for you to use for inspiration or for your styled shoot. Bring a few of your own products or props for this styling and photography session. You’ll have the opportunity to also photograph Jennifer’s styled flat lay as well as our lunch table. *hint…We will have a gorgeous grazing table styled for you. And we’ll enjoy a beautiful and healthy lunch right after.
6. LUNCH & NETWORKING – 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
7. Best practices for posting your social media content – Sarah, 2:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Did you know that social media posts with video have 48% more views? That means that if you aren’t including video in your content, you should be. Learn insights to Facebook and Instagram, how to read them and what they mean for your business and your content strategy. Developing themes for content and writing and planning content calendars.
8. Live video & breakout session – Apryl & Sarah, 2:30 – 3:20 (*incl. 10 minute break)
While many people are intimidated by the idea of live videos, they are one of the most powerful tools on social media. They offer an immediate connection to your audience and have many different implications. We will review the most popular types of live video, the equipment needed to shoot them and how to get comfortable going live! Breakout session to do a live video on site. *The studio has multiple rooms and areas so you’ll have your own space for this.
9. Video editing and apps & breakout sessions – Apryl & Sarah, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Editing is perhaps the most overlooked, but most important part of video storytelling. Apryl and Sarah will review their favourite video editing programs and apps while showing you the basics of how to edit your own videos for social media. You’ll create and edit a video that you can use for your brand.

I am a photographer and creative director with over 16 years of experience photographing for brands and businesses. I provide brand consulting and creative direction for visionary entrepreneurs and lifestyle companies that are ready to gain clarity in their message, bring their vision to life and elevate their brand story.
I taught myself over the years how to build my own WordPress websites, including this one. Want to see my health & wellness brand that I built from the ground up? This included defining the brand story & mission, choosing brand colours, brand naming, website, styling, art direction, photography, content marketing, and social media marketing.

Sarah and Apryl are the super duo behind the popular lifestyle brand This Kinda Life. They love to shine a spotlight on things you need to know about the area including the latest trends, interviews with amazing people and businesses, and are most well known for their down to earth real talk about all things mom.
Both Sarah and Apryl come from working in television and it was their vision to bring television elements into an online audience. This Kinda Life was launched in 2016 and has skyrocketed into a huge success. They also launched TKL Media this year where they work with businesses helping them to create a better social media presence.

Workshop Fee: $400 plus HST.

This is intentionally a small group so that you’ll get individual support throughout the workshop. We are capping the workshop at 10 people, so we ask that you make the commitment to attend when you purchase your ticket.
In the event of an emergency, the workshop fee may be refunded if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event due to emergency less a 20% administration fee. This will be decided on a case by case basis.
