Michael & Liv met at University here in Canada. Michael is Canadian & Liv is Norwegian. Liv was studying here and it was fate that they met & fell in love. Michael & Liv live in Norway and came back to Canada to visit family in southwestern Ontario.
I was so happy that they made the trip up for an overnight stay in Barrie so we could capture some early morning family portraits by the Lake.
Every year, I’m so honoured to photograph families that come to visit Muskoka from across the country, the US and Europe. Many have ties to this area and so they are visiting with family or coming to their cottage for summer vacation or their ski chalet in the winter and we have the opportunity to photograph their family portraits.
