Jennifer is an internationally published photographer and has photographed many editorials of food, lifestyle, and travel. She has worked with many businesses in the food & hospitality industry including restaurants, artisan food makers, local farmers, and more.
Jennifer’s studio can provide creative direction in addition to her photography services. She has experience styling food for smaller artisan food brands or for her own conscious living blog. For restaurants and hospitality, she works in collaboration with the chef who styles the plates. She can recommend a food stylist for larger more sophisticated photo shoots.
Do you own a restaurant in Barrie, Simcoe, Muskoka, or Georgian Bay?
Great food photography is an incredible marketing tool to bring people into your restaurant.
Add in some lifestyle photography, creative chef portraits, and unique interior photography to capture the essence of your restaurant. Provide a glimpse into the culinary experience that awaits through engaging photography.
Does your catering company need stylized food photography for showcasing your culinary talents?
I will work with you to produce artful and vibrant food photography to help you sell your catering services and entice potential customers. I also recommend creating some engaging portraits and capturing the vibe of your company through authentic lifestyle images as well.
My services include creative direction and photography. I have much experience with food and prop styling and this can also be added to my services depending on the size and the scope of the project. However, a food and prop stylist is always recommended for larger or more sophisticated food photoshoots.
Do you own a small-batch artisanal food or drink brand or shop?
I love working with artisanal food and drink brands who use pure and local ingredients made in small batches or handcrafted.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with chefs, farmers, and local food artisans. My very first photography job back in 2003 was and editorial shoot for a New Zealand magazine photographing the artisanal food scene on Vancouver Island.
I am also a food lover, huge supporter of eating local and supporting sustainable and regenerative agriculture initiatives. Visit my conscious living blog for simple and healthy recipes using fresh, seasonal ingredients supporting local farmers. Consider a brand partnership with me on my blog to create an original recipe or share original content about your artisanal food brand or regenerative farm.Â
